ERRA National Road Relays 2019

Silver team medal at the National Road Relays

After a golden day at the Midland road relays, the U15 girls followed it up by winning a stunning silver at the Nationals. I spoke to them a few days before the National Road Relays and told them that they had all got to find an additional 20 seconds from their Midlands time if they wanted to be in with a chance of  winning a National medal. All of the girls responded on the day with Poppy Adkin running 28 seconds quicker on leg one, then Eve Rowley running 26 seconds quicker on leg two and then Elsie Robinson running 21 seconds quicker on the third leg and picking up the fastest leg of the day.
It is very early in the winter season and we have already won two team medals, this is a fantastic start to the season.
